Feeding Tips...
-
Store feed in a dry, well-ventilated area free from rodents and insects. DO NOT use moldy or insect-infested feed.
-
Whenever rabbits are changed from one feeding program to another, the change should be made over a five to seven day period. During this time, mix the new feed with the old feed, gradually increase the amount of the new feed. It is always important to allow time for the rabbits' intestinal flora to adjust to any new feed.
-
Provide plenty of clean, fresh, cool water to rabbits at all times.
-
When to feed....Evening is the best time to feed your rabbits. Always feed at the same time each day.
-
Clean feeding dish daily so uneaten pellets do not become stale and moldy.
Important: A feeding program is only as effective as the management practices followed.
